V-LINC has chosen eight families to receive customized solutions that will help grant the wishes they have for their children with disabilities. Through the second annual What I Wish for My Child campaign, V-LINC will recruit volunteer engineers to design and build one-of-a-kind assistive devices at no cost for each of these families. The devices will range from customized bicycles to special swing sets — all designed to improve the independence and quality of life of the children who will use them.
