As part of the Text-Reader initiative, V-LINC is providing a hands on training on May 20, 2011 for IEP/SLP's who may be interested and depending on space possibly to other interested parties.  V-LINC is also avaliable to come to your school and provide hands on training with a group of teachers at your school, all at no cost to the school itself.   We have been contacting schools about this but have had mixed success; if you are interested in attending the May Training or would like V-LINC to come to your school please contact us using the ASK US link above and we will contact you to make arrangements.
Envision Technology in Bethesda is a local reseller of Kurzweil 1000/3000 and provides training and support on the program to users who purchase from them in their offices. They can also assist with the different versions and licensing schemes for Kurzweil. It is also possible if Kurzweil was purchased at some point but you cannot locate it to purchase the upgrade in Kurzweil software at a reduced price than re-acquiring the softwares full version, if you have or they can locate the serial number for your schools purchase. After June 30, 2011 pricing for upgrades across the board will increase. You can see more about Envision Technology at http://www.envisiontechnology.org
