Volunteers Build Custom Bikes for APG Children Featured

  • January was the month V-LINC went to help 10 kids of military families at Aberdeen Proving Grounds! APG volunteers, including the parents of several of the children with disabilities, jumped in with our volunteers to build custom bikes for 10 children and youth.  About 15 V-LINC volunteer engineers, physical therapists and others spent several hours on a recent Saturday assembling bike frames, adding and adjusting special parts needed for trunk support, safety, balance and other special needs.Here are some photos:
