About V-LINC

V-LINC is a nonprofit organization, recongnized as tax exempt by the federal government under paragraph 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.

OUR MISSION is to create technological solutions to improve the independence and quality of life for individuals of all ages with disabilities.

We accept requests for assistance primarily from residents and organizations in central Maryland. Our volunteer engineers and medical professionals work together to create one-of-a-kind, customized assistive technology. We also use technology in-action in our Inclusive Computer Arts Day Camp every summer.

Customized Assistive Technology Services

V-LINC’s customized assistive technology program is made possible by volunteers who have professional experience in engineering, carpentry, occupational therapy, nursing or other related technical backgrounds. Our volunteer engineers and medical professionals assess needs and invent solutions (or modify existing ones) for some of the daily challenges faced by our clients.  Our goal is to create unique devices and solutions to help individuals live, work, or play more independently.
